We had a great two tank dive on this day With a large group from our cruise ship.
we spent most of our time entertaining a beautiful nurse shark and she was no different than a lost puppy looking for some loving, especially with John and I.
John fed her a couple of times that you’ll see below, but you will also see some other creatures of the deep that we always love to observe and only interact with when they come to us.
Junior, our boat captain was a lot of fun… because of the design of the boat, we had to put our fins on in the water or at the back of the boat, I opted to do it at the back of the boat with Junior’s help… and in doing so, I said…. “Thank you Daddy” and busted up laughing., so the next time you go diving in Belize, go with Junior and be sure to call him Daddy, lol.
I always love hanging out with sharks and getting up and close and person with this nurse shark, my hearth absolutely fluttered the whole time. Then too, watching how she took in this lionfish for a meal was so cool.
I hope you enjoy this clip
This clip is about feeding this beautiful nurse shark and a moray eel some Lionfish
These crab here in Belize are really big, look at these claws... plus the size of this lobster, grill some corn and grab some melted butter, haha.
This is a compilation of 22 video snippets where I had a very close encounter with a beautiful nurse shark.
With my GoPro on the end of my Lionfish Slayer, this new friend of mine touched, tapped and slammed into my camera 18 times. Most were gentle taps but a couple of them were pretty aggressive, knocking it off kilter and you can see where I reached over to realign it.
She even followed us to the second
We had so much fun with this shark during our encounter with her, can’t’ wait to go back.
Came upon this good sized sea turtle just chilling out. At first glance I thought something was wrong with it's right fore flipper the way it was under it's body, but then it pulled it out and began to move it in what seems like normal rotation.
These little guys are really cool and fun to try to watch... yes, to try to watch. If you get too close they will drop back down into their holes and hide for fear of you being a predator, so I usually set up my camera fairly close and then swim off a few feet so they come popping out out of their hideouts.
These Feather Duster's are about like the Jawfish, you get too close, they close up and hide
A compilation of some still images captured mostly by my GoPro but 6 were taken by a fellow diver.
