Our Christmas Holiday on the Emerald Princess Through the Hawaiian Islands

Princess Cruises ship docked near rocky shore under blue sky.

While docked at Hilo, HI, we captured a photo of our ship at the port.

Vast volcanic crater under a partly cloudy blue sky.

We took a tour to the Kīlauea Volcano and our guide was awesome. Paul knew his stuff about the whole island was honestly sad the volcano wasn't erupting for us to see. We missed it by just hours.

Volcanic crater emitting blue smoke under a clear sky.

This small plume of steam is where the volcano typically spits out lava, of course not while we were there, haha.

Honolulu Turtles

Up close and personal with some sea turtles while scuba diving with #tridentadventures during our day at the port in Honolulu. Our guide took us to a couple of "cleaning stations", these are where turtles go to scrape off barnacles off their bodies... who knew??? haha.
